You appeared to my heart

Beckoned within a prayer

You were the chosen art

To fill a cloud of empty

To thrill moments of despair

God knew the perfect angel

To do his bidding here

For with you came the smile of forgiveness

The helping hands of need

Not storm, nor time, nor heartbreak

Could hide his answers from deeds

He sent your love to the door of my heart

Fulfilled and calming desires

Heaven sent by the light of the moon

Resting underneath one shimmering star
